Twitter seems ambitious to reach more users through this new promotional strategies. The first in history, Twitter is ready to release a television commercial that will air during the first game of the World Series (baseball championship series of Major League Baseball) tonight.
According to the website The Verge, this ad was made by the same agency, TBWA \ Chiat \ Day, which also makes Apple ad “1984” for Macintosh. Twitters first television advertisement includes a tweet from layoff MLB games as seen on the new features ‘Moments’.
When asked about the costs incurred Twitter for television commercials that aired during this major sporting event, Chief Financial Officer Anthony Noto is only revealed if they are interested to invest in the future.
